Work Arrangement
- Hybrid role requiring attendance at the Markham or Oshawa office at least three times per week.
The Role
The Senior Systems Engineer will support vehicle data collection capabilities across embedded systems, cloud services, and data platforms.
The role covers systems requirements, architecture alignment, verification planning, validation coverage, compliance, vehicle-program integration, performance monitoring, and operational observability.
The successful candidate will connect product intent to system behavior, vehicle integration, verification evidence, and operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead traceable system requirements across vehicle, edge, and cloud components.
- Align architectures, interfaces, operational flows, and deployment models across DDC systems.
- Define verification strategies, test scopes, coverage expectations, and release-readiness evidence.
- Establish observability and performance monitoring for data collection features and end-to-end data transport.
- Support vehicle-program integration, staged rollouts, safe change management, and auditable deployment outcomes.
