About the Role

Requirements
- Experience in electrical commissioning activities
- Ability to lead a team of technicians/operators/sub contractors
- Knowledge of P&IDs, single line diagrams, schematic logic diagrams
- Experience with SMCC, MCC, SCADA systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, heater testing
- Strong understanding of HSE procedures and PTW systems

Primary Duties
- Ensures all commissioning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and cost effectively.
- Provides day to day support to Commissioning Engineer/Commissioning Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up technical teams and monitor progress to schedule.
- Confirm/arrange suitable PPE for all personnel.
- Arrange PTW, Tool Box talks in line with HSE requirements.
- Be continually present on the field to guarantee quality and progress.
- Ability to lead a team of technicians/operators/sub contractors.
- Analyze team performance against schedule and report changes.
- Monitor availability of personnel.
- Liaise with other disciplines to ensure work fronts are available.
- Ensure transport is available for site teams.
- Look at initiatives to improve work within pre commissioning and commissioning.
- Prepare all testing dossiers with proper documentation.
- Keep technically updated through study of related literature.
Electrical Specific Duties
- Provide day to day support to field commissioning team during SAT, energisation, and functional testing.
- Prepare testing dossiers with drawings, procedures, single line diagrams, schematic logic diagrams.
- Ability to work on SMCC, MCC, SCADA systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, heater testing.
- Ensure all commission activities are completed safely, efficiently, and cost effectively.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure work fronts are available.
- Ability to organize and run large team of technicians/sub contractors.
- Execute electrical commissioning activities and guide technicians.
- Ensure correct tool packages and procedures are available.
- Ensure electrical testing procedures are strictly followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Confirm/arrange suitable PPE.
- Review spares part usage against plan.
Requirements
- Experience in electrical commissioning activities.
- Ability to lead a team of technicians/operators/sub contractors.
- Knowledge of P&IDs, single line diagrams, schematic logic diagrams.
- Experience with SMCC, MCC, SCADA systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, heater testing.
- Strong understanding of HSE procedures and PTW systems.
