- Develop systems and procedures for Project control functions at project onset
- Determine staffing requirements based on workload and allot resources to project phases
- Provide leadership and guidance to project planning team to develop, implement & maintain project controls procedure and schedules
- Prepare progress measurement systems such as manpower histograms and progress S curves
- Monitor progress of work for timely execution through weekly/monthly reports
- Coordinate internal project team reviews followed by client approval of work schedule and reporting systems
- Review status continuously and keep Project Director/Manager apprised of progress and areas needing attention
- Ensure field project controls documents are fully developed and implemented
- Carry out diagnostic studies on ongoing projects to measure achieved vs planned progress
- Carry out schedule risk analysis and advise action plan to mitigate delays
- Participate in department development activities for continual improvement

Position Overview

- This role is for a Manager – Project Control based in Sharjah, UAE.
Primary Duties
- Develop systems and procedures for Project control functions on the onset of the project.
- Determine staffing requirements based on workload and allotment of available resources.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project planning team to develop, implement & maintain project controls procedure, project schedules (level 1 4), and reporting systems.
- Prepare progress measurement systems such as manpower histograms and progress S curves.
