About the Role
Petrofac is hiring a Commissioning Manager to lead a team of discipline engineers in preparing and executing commissioning of process plants in Abu Dhabi. The role requires managing commissioning plans, safety procedures, and handover to clients.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of discipline engineers in preparation and execution of commissioning of process plants
- Carry out detailed assessment of commissioning work and assess available resources and constraints
- Ensure development of integrated commissioning plans including scope, duration, resources, and constraints
- Oversee preparation of commissioning schedules and prioritize system completion requirements
- Provide guidance to Commissioning Engineers in analyzing scope and preparing procedures
- Supervise planning, progress monitoring, cost control, and coordination with client
- Ensure all safety and precautionary requirements are followed during commissioning
- Hold regular review meetings with client on HSE conformance and commissioning progress
- Hand over plant to client in line with commissioning schedules and client requirements
- Prepare project execution strategy and manage commissioning and start up preparation home office activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in commissioning of process plants
- Ability to lead a team of discipline engineers
- Knowledge of HSSE standards and safety procedures
- Experience with commissioning safety procedures such as LOTO and PTW
- Ability to review contractual documents and identify project requirements
- Strong planning and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Primary Duties
- Lead a team of discipline engineers in preparation and execution of commissioning of process plants.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in commissioning of process plants.
