Position Overview
China State Construction Middle East is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer for its Technical Team.
The assignment is on a newly awarded large-scale high-rise tower project in Dubai.
Key Assignment
- Provide structural design and technical support to the project team.
- Conduct routine site visits and audit technical management compliance with company procedures.
- Review subcontractor calculations for steel design, post-tensioned design, and related work.
- Provide engineering solutions where required.
- Design and check temporary works such as equipment foundations, equipment supports, formwork, and back propping.
- Review structural method statements for structural adequacy.
- Assist with investigations of structural items involved in site incidents.
- Assist with tendering where structural input is required.
- Develop structural value-engineering proposals and design optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
