CSCEC Middle East is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support its Contracts Team.
The role requires strong main contractor infrastructure project experience in the UAE or wider Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Manage and close complex upstream client and downstream subcontractor final accounts.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate Variation Orders, Extension of Time claims, contra-charges, and other commercial claims.
- Handle final accounts involving variations, Extension of Time claims, and contra-charges independently.
- Apply FIDIC or similar contracts and standard methods of measurement such as CESMM.
- Audit project-level commercial submissions from a corporate perspective.
- Identify cost leakage and mitigate commercial and legal risks.
- Conduct commercial negotiations and prepare defensive correspondence in English.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, contract management, or commercial management.
- Strong main contractor experience in the UAE or wider Middle East is required.
- Proven experience independently handling client and subcontractor final accounts.
- Chartered status such as MRICS or MAIQS is highly preferred.
