Position Summary
Senior mechanical engineering role supporting a large-scale project in Dubai.
Responsible for HVAC and mechanical engineering oversight, daily work decisions, subordinate task assignment, scheduling, and operational issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and design detailed shop drawings based on tender design drawings.
- Review tender drawings and specifications and raise RFIs when required.
- Lead and support the engineering team while ensuring discipline quality and process compliance.
- Review design solutions for compliance with client requirements, standards, codes, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with authorities and other disciplines.
- Support procurement with technical input and supplier offer reviews.
- Coordinate local authority approvals for mechanical service drawings and inspections.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant work experience in construction projects.
- Experience in five-star hotels, luxury hospitality, or similarly complex projects.
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques.
