Position Overview
CSCEC Middle East is recruiting Structural and Architectural Drafters for its technical department.
The role supports a newly awarded large-scale building project in Dubai, UAE.
Drawing and Documentation Responsibilities
- Draft structural and architectural detail drawings, mobilization drawings, and structural general arrangement drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings for blockwork, finishes, tile layouts, reflected ceiling plans, site plans, sections, elevations, and external details.
- Prepare external landscape shop drawings and coordinate hardscape, finishing, and infrastructure details.
- Prepare technical content describing the scope and limits of the design.
- Prepare construction drawings and survey coordination drawings based on demarcation plans.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and coordinate related drawings.
- Prepare architectural and structural coordination drawings, identify clashes, and support requests for information.
- Prepare interior design drawings according to IFC drawings and coordinate with approved MEP shop drawings.
- Prepare precast panel finishing coordination drawings with MEP services.
- Review rebar drawings against bar bending schedules and IFC drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on site alterations or modifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture or civil engineering.
- At least five years of experience in building projects.
