Responsibilities
- Supervise firms' compliance with rules and regulations, and conduct periodic impact/risk assessments
- Draft and execute supervisory work plans, including planning and executing supervisory reviews
- Analyse prudential condition and conduct of business of assigned institutions, with focus on financial crime prevention
- Take prompt action against deficiencies and non compliances, and follow up on remediation
- Build relationships with regulated institutions and stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in financial crime prevention
- Knowledge of financial supervision and regulatory frameworks

Role Overview
- The FSRA regulates financial services in ADGM; Supervision Division oversees banks, insurers, money service providers, and capital markets.
- The Senior Specialist Supervision works closely with Managers and Senior Managers to implement the supervisory framework.
- This role has a strong financial crime focus and requires relevant financial crime prevention experience.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of short and long term objectives of Supervision Section.
- Assist in developing, enhancing and implementing the framework, policies, rules and procedures for governing and supervising financial institutions.
Operational Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising firms’ compliance with relevant rules and regulations and in their periodic impact/risk assessment.
- Responsible for the periodic risk assessment of firms, drafting of supervisory work plan, and execution of supervisory work plan.
- Responsible for ongoing analysis of prudential condition and conduct of business, with focus on Financial Crime Prevention.
- Responsible for/assist in taking prompt action against deficiencies and non compliances.
- Build relationships with regulated institutions and other stakeholders.
- Assist in implementing policies, rules and processes.
- Deliver additional tasks delegated from Director/Senior Manager.
- Liaise with other internal stakeholders.
- Participate and deliver on projects.

- Understand, adopt, adhere and practice responsibilities or controls as per ADGM Information Security policy.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of ADGM Information at all times.
