Summary

  • The specialist contributes to sales of technology solutions for Bell Business Markets customers by developing tailored strategies and seeking opportunities.
  • The role is a strategic partner to the account manager, understanding business challenges and developing solutions leveraging BBM's advanced products.
  • Key areas include network infrastructure, security, cloud integration, and unified communications.

Technical Expertise

  • Identify and create opportunities for enterprise class network solutions including WAN, LAN, and Wi Fi.
  • Develop security solutions: next generation firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, SIEM, VPN, zero trust.
  • Sell cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) for computing, storage, networking, including IaaS, PaaS, hybrid/multi cloud.
  • Find opportunities in computing, storage, AI infrastructure, and private/hybrid cloud hosting.
  • Identify opportunities for advanced collaboration solutions: unified communications, VoIP, video conferencing, messaging.
  • Drive innovation in wireless IoT and 5G solutions: fleet management, asset tracking, private mobile networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and seize new business opportunities requiring cutting edge technology solutions.
  • Conduct in depth analyses of customer needs and design comprehensive solutions.
  • Act as a specialist in advanced technologies and translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Services) to design, propose, and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive the sales cycle by demonstrating ROI, managing pipeline, and building trusted relationships.
  • Focus on strategic thinking, in depth technical solution design, and understanding of advanced technologies.

Critical Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in a technical role, preferably in pre sales, designing and selling complex technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in solution selling, especially in enterprise network connectivity, security, cloud, AI, and collaboration.
  • Experience in prospecting and developing new business.
  • Knowledge of specific vertical industries and their unique technological requirements.
  • Post secondary degree.
  • Industry certifications are an asset.
  • Adequate knowledge of French required for positions in Quebec.
