Overview
The Senior Solution Consultant acts as a trusted technical advisor and pre sales specialist, bridging the gap between customer needs and the company s product and service portfolio.
Leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise in solution architecture, the role designs, validates, and presents tailored solutions that address complex business challenges, driving sales opportunities and ensuring successful implementation.
Solution Design & Architecture
Analyze customer requirements, business processes, and technical environments.
Develop comprehensive solution architectures that integrate hardware, software, and services.
Produce high-level and low-level solution designs (HLD/LLD) documents, including diagrams, data flows, and integration points.
Pre Sales Engagement
Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and develop winning proposals.
Conduct discovery workshops, technical presentations, and product demos for prospects and existing customers.
Articulate value propositions, ROI, and business benefits of proposed solutions.
Proof Of Concept (Poc) & Pilot Management
Lead the planning, setup, and execution of PoCs and pilot projects.
Coordinate resources, configure environments, and validate solution performance against customer criteria.
Capture feedback, refine designs, and transition successful pilots to formal engagements.
Technical Leadership & Guidance
Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product lines or solution domains.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior consultants and sales engineers.
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Solution Delivery & Implementation
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and validation of company Product solutions in On-premises environments, public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid architectures.
- Coordinate and execute deployment activities across customer environments, including infrastructure readiness checks, dependency validation, and cutover planning.
- Translate approved designs and business requirements into executable deployment plans, ensuring alignment with customer infrastructure, security policies, and operational constraints.
Collaboration & Handover
Work closely with delivery, implementation, and professional services teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to deployment.
Document solution specifications, configuration details, and implementation guidelines for post sale teams.
Participate in post implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future engagements.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, line of business leaders, and technical staff.
Address technical objections, provide clarifications, and ensure alignment with customer objectives throughout the sales cycle.
Proposal & Documentation
Author technical sections of proposals, statements of work (SOW), and solution briefs.
Develop and maintain reusable solution templates, best practice guides, and reference architectures.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive handover / as-built documentation, including: Final solution architecture and configuration details, Deployment procedures and operational guidelines, Known limitations, risks, and support considerations.
Metrics & Reporting
Track and report on key performance indicators such as win rates, sales cycle time, and PoC success rates.
Contribute insights to sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Requirements
":" Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
6+ years of experience in solution consulting, engineering, or technical architecture, preferably within enterprise level technology solutions (e.g., cloud, security, networking, ERP, or digital transformation).
Strong expertise in one or more technology domains (e.g., cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data analytics, IoT, enterprise software), hands on experience with solution design tools, modeling software, and demonstration environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business value
