Join an embedded Innovation Squad that turns internal AI experimentation into validated, reusable solutions.
Perform research, design, and software development assignments within the squad's product area.
Translate stakeholder and end-user requests into workable solutions that fit real workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept and ship agentic AI solutions to production standard.
- Implement and test tool use, retrieval pipelines, and agent workflows.
- Develop evaluation, observability, guardrails, logging, instrumentation, and alerting for agentic systems.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise workflows and systems.
- Translate product requirements into software designs and write or review detailed specifications.
- Apply CI/CD, coding best practices, code reviews, and documentation standards.
- Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, and starter kits for other functions.
- Pair-program, support handover, and mentor less senior engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with AI-enabled or data-intensive systems.
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, tool-augmented agents, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context management, evaluation, and observability.
- Ability to design across multiple components and integrate AI through APIs and data pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; CI/CD; modern SDLC; TDD; and code review.
- Experience with relational, columnar, and vector stores and sound data-modeling principles.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, and relevant AI SDKs.
- Clear communication, autonomous working, measurement discipline, and developing mentoring skills.
