Build and improve digital payment products and merchant services.
Work across the stack using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
Take ownership from understanding the business problem through solution delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Build and improve full-stack features for digital payment products and merchant services.
- Develop backend services, REST APIs, and user-facing web features.
- Build reliable integrations that support the payment ecosystem.
- Understand merchant and business needs and turn them into practical technical solutions.
- Take ownership of features from problem definition through development and production.
- Work with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
- Review code and support other engineers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five or more years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Strong full-stack development experience.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and REST APIs.
- Experience building user-facing web products.
- Strong product mindset and ownership.
- Good understanding of testing, performance, and scalable system design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial services is a strong plus.
