Role Purpose
Support the MEP estimation team in preparing cost estimates and tender documentation.
Gain hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, pricing, and tender preparation under senior guidance.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with quantity take-offs from MEP drawings and cross-check quantities against revisions and specifications.
- Compile pricing schedules, BOQs, and tender documents, including formatting and proofreading submissions.
- Obtain and follow up on supplier quotations for materials and equipment before pricing deadlines.
- Maintain estimating databases, rate libraries, tender files, supplier records, and historical pricing logs.
- Develop technical knowledge of MEP systems and estimating methodologies through tender reviews and site visits.
- Introduce tools and processes that improve efficiency, transparency, outcomes, and cost control without compromising quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Recent graduate with 0–2 years of MEP estimating or engineering experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a commercial environment.
