Responsibilities

• :
• Leading a team of Engineers / Inspectors and ensure compliance of the submitted documents by the contractors with project’s requirements, and the scope of work in compliance with contracts/agreement.
• Carry out technical reviews for the SCADA system during the different execution phases, shop drawings and material submittals in reference to project's requirements, international codes, and related standards in a timely manner.
• Review and develop the project activities in consistency with the construction schedules and actual site work progress and re-prioritize activities accordingly, as required.
• Reporting to the Project manager and clients about execution status and contractor’s performance on weekly & monthly basis.
• Conducting periodical site meetings and workshops with contractors, and sub-contractors to solve the pending issues and to mitigate or avoid any potential delays in the actual progress, so as to achieve the planned progress.
• Ensure the consistency of execution review comments with the projects’ objectives, tracking action / outstanding construction issues and snags in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with technical team to initiate the required actions to respond to contractor.
• able to prepare/review engineering documents, specifications & designs, supervising the construction of works at projects, reviewing work of contractors for compliance with plans and specifications and supervising engineering personnel.
• Carry out the review, and supervision for the implementation of the proposed SCADA system architecture, HMI configuration, integration and interoperability tests between existing and new SCADA systems, ensuring system security, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other engineers to optimize the required process control of the specific system, and ensuring the system reliability and efficiency of the SCADA system as per the project specifications and requirements.

Requirements

• :
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) and shall be familiar on the interface requirements that need to be established between the different systems and SCADA. Also, the candidate shall be familiar with the IEC and International standards. Must have experience as a

• Engineer, with a strong background in
• water SCADA
• systems considered highly advantageous

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a SCADA Engineer or in a similar role
• Understanding of network design and cybersecurity principles for SCADA systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining system reliability.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is a plus.
