- Perform inspections of mechanical works including piping, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and equipment installation
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards
- Conduct material receiving inspections and verify documentation
- Monitor site activities and workmanship quality during installation and testing
- Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and non conformance reports (NCRs)
- Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams
- Witness testing and commissioning activities
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures on site
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical inspection or QA/QC
- Knowledge of international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA, and ISO
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, construction practices, and inspection procedures
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Relevant certifications such as CSWIP, API, ASNT, or ISO 9001 are preferred
