Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Civil Engineer/Resident Engineer in supervising and controlling the execution of technical functions of the project.
- Review shop drawings and as built drawings.
- Visit the work site regularly to inspect and verify ongoing works, quality, progress, and identify any problems or conflicts.
- Lead and supervise Inspectors and Surveyors during the construction and implementation stages.
- Review the Contractor’s progress and monitor site work, including the Contractor’s manpower and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management abilities to meet project deadlines.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with robust industry knowledge.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural design, including significant experience in infrastructure, building, and airport projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D).
- Experience working in a BIM enabled project environment, including model coordination, clash detection, and review of BIM deliverables.
