Role Overview
ARX is seeking a Senior Roads Engineer for its office in Riyadh.
The role focuses on roads and highway design across infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of infrastructure experience and at least 3 years of experience in the KSA.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee road and highway systems for infrastructure projects.
- Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and related analyses.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate road systems with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and infrastructure interfaces.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
- Review deliverables from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
- Guide junior engineers and liaise with authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of infrastructure experience focused on roads and highways.
- At least 3 years of relevant KSA experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of road and highway design and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of KSA codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
