Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their trade cycles and working capital requirements
- Analyze clients' cash flow cycles and recommend working capital optimization strategies
- Manage and expand a portfolio of SME clients to achieve annual business targets
- Identify opportunities to cross sell SME banking solutions including POS Lending, Asset Backed Lending, Supply Chain Finance, and Cash Management
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals with detailed financial and risk analyses
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signs, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure timely renewal and restructuring of credit facilities in line with internal and regulatory policies
- Partner with internal teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance) to deliver seamless service execution
- Address and resolve client queries promptly to maintain high satisfaction and retention levels
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field (master's or professional certifications preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in relationship management with a proven track record of managing and growing an SME client portfolio
- In depth knowledge of trade finance products including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and supply chain financing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client centric approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage
- Strong network and understanding of the business landscape in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates is highly desirable

Job Description

- Offer tailored trade finance solutions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and supply chain financing, to optimize client liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Cross sell and up sell bank products and services to existing and potential clients, expanding the bank's market share and profitability.
- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide insightful advice and solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and product specialists, to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on portfolio performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the bank's network and identify potential new clients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and trust.
- Continuously develop your skills and knowledge to stay ahead of the curve in the dynamic world of trade finance.
Qualifications
