About the Role
SKM Air Conditioning LLC is seeking a Senior Supplier QA Engineer to lead supplier audits, component evaluations, and root cause analysis for HVAC components. You will drive supplier qualification, manage claims, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct supplier audits (initial, surveillance, re audits) to ensure compliance with SKM standards and ISO requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis for component failures at site using various RCA methodologies
- Prepare and lead the process of supplier claims based on the nature of component defects
- Drive supplier qualification and development activities including capability assessment and risk evaluation
- Oversee and guide component evaluation activities in coordination with junior QA engineers
- Ensure full compliance of supplier documentation (MTC, TC, MSDS, PQP, ITP) with SKM requirements
- Plan and execute critical inspections at supplier facilities including pre dispatch inspections and FAT
- Lead closure of critical supplier related punch points, especially documentation and compliance issues
- Review NCR and MDR raised in ERP; ensure proper RCA and CAPA
- Conduct advanced MDR and NCR trend analysis and present actionable insights to management
- Handle supplier claims and recovery processes including investigation and cost impact analysis
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve supplier related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7 10 years of experience in QA related field
- Technical and application knowledge for HVAC products
- Proven knowledge of scientific measurement instruments
- Ability to communicate effectively

Role Overview
- The Sr. Supplier QA Engineer leads supplier related activities including supplier and component evaluations, supplier audits, and component reliability validation.
- Ensures compliance with performance and quality standards, investigates supplier issues, prepares and processes supplier claims, and oversees technical and commercial aspects of component evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct supplier audits (initial, surveillance, re audits) to ensure compliance with SKM standards, ISO requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis for component failure at site using different RCA methodologies.
- Prepare and lead the process of supplier claims based on the nature of defect of components.
- Drive supplier qualification and development activities, including capability assessment, risk evaluation, and continuous improvement planning.
- Oversee and guide component evaluation activities in coordination with Jr.QA/QA engineers.
- Ensure full compliance of supplier documentation (MTC, TC, MSDS, PQP, ITP, etc.) with SKM requirements and applicable international standards.
- Plan and execute critical inspections at supplier facilities, including pre dispatch inspections, FAT, and process validation.
- Lead closure of critical supplier related punch points, especially documentation and compliance issues.
- Review NCR & MDR raised in ERP; ensure proper root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct advanced MDR and NCR trend analysis, identifying recurring issues and systemic gaps.
- Handle supplier claims and recovery processes, including investigation, cost impact analysis, and resolution follow up.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Procurement, Engineering, Production, QHSE) to resolve supplier related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical & application knowledge for the HVAC products.
- Experience in the reputable organization of 7 10 years in QA related Field.
- Proven Knowledge of Scientific measurement instruments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
