Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy software applications and services that address real business needs
- Build and maintain back end services, APIs, databases and front end interfaces to a high standard
- Integrate AI and LLM powered features into applications where they add value
- Develop agentic AI features such as chatbots, assistants, and task automation agents using LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG
- Test, monitor and optimize applications for accuracy, reliability, performance and cost
- Enhance and maintain existing applications and keep clear technical documentation
- Collaborate with the System Analyst and development team to ensure requirements are implemented accurately
- Identify opportunities to apply software and AI capabilities across products and internal workflows, and develop prototypes
- Support the wider team in adopting modern software engineering and AI assisted development practices responsibly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 2 3 years of software development experience in a reputable organization
- Demonstrated experience developing full stack applications including front end, back end, APIs, and databases
- Working knowledge of LLM and AI concepts including prompt engineering, RAG, and AI service integration via APIs
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective stakeholder communication and high attention to detail

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced, motivated and innovative Software Engineer to join our development team.
- The ideal candidate will design, develop and maintain the applications and services that support business operations across the organization.
- The role is predominantly focused on core software engineering with a defined component dedicated to modern AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy software applications and services that address real business needs

- Integrate AI and LLM powered features into applications where they add value
- Develop agentic AI features chatbots, assistants, task automation agents using LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG

Requirements

- 2–3 years of software development experience in a reputable organization

- Demonstrated experience developing full stack applications, including front end, back end services, APIs and databases
- Strong programming fundamentals, with the ability to integrate AI components into applications where required
- Working knowledge of LLM and AI concepts, including prompt engineering, RAG and the integration of AI services via APIs
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, effective stakeholder communication, and a high level of attention to detail
