About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all projects/sites activity with responsibility for project execution in compliance with contractual requirements
- Review contract/tendering documentation and direct preliminary planning stages
- Coordinate mobilization team activities and establish communication channels
- Establish resourcing requirements for project segments including staffing and plant
- Develop project planning package and monitor progress against plan
- Liaise with staff to ensure project monitoring system and financial performance review
- Provide resources and expertise on site for effective supervision and compliance
- Review project insurance requirements and secure coverage
- Review Safety and QA/QC project plans with functional heads and submit to client
- Resolve contractual/legal matters to protect company interests
- Maintain demobilization plans for workforce and plant
- Act as company representative with clients, suppliers, partners, and contractors

- Engineering degree
- Minimum 20 years of project management experience in the oil and gas sector

Primary Duties
- Manage and co ordinate all projects/sites activity with responsibility for the execution of the project in compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Review contract/tendering documentation to ensure thorough understanding and direct preliminary planning stages.
- Co ordinate the work of the mobilization team to ensure all necessary activities are reviewed with active actions appropriately assigned.
- Establish along with the Project Management Team the resourcing requirements for respective project segments.
- Co ordinate the development and establishment of the project planning package together with monitoring mechanisms.
- Liaise with relevant staff to ensure project monitoring system is implemented and financial performance is reviewed.
- Provide adequate resources and expertise on site to ensure effective supervision, monitoring and control.
- Review project insurance requirements and initiate action to secure coverage.
- Review Safety and QA/QC project plans with respective functional heads and submit to client for approval.
- Resolve any contractual/legal matters and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Maintain under regular review the demobilization plans of the workforce and plant.
- Act as the Company’s official representative with clients, suppliers, partners and third party contractors.
Minimum Requirements
- An engineering degree with a minimum of 20 years of project management experience in the oil and gas sector.
