About the Role
DP World is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, execution, and handover of engineering projects. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering and 6-9 years of project engineering experience, including 3-4 years in a senior role.

Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, testing, commissioning, and handover of engineering projects
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and subcontractor activities
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, company procedures, QA/QC standards, and HSE regulations
- Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation
- Resolve technical issues, site challenges, and design coordination conflicts
- Monitor project costs, variations, contractor performance, and support procurement through technical evaluations
- Oversee quality inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, defect rectification, and preparation of handover documentation
- Prepare and submit project progress reports, risk registers, KPI updates, and other required documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure smooth transition of completed projects to facility management operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6–9 years of project engineering experience
- At least 3–4 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Experience in Facility Management, infrastructure, industrial, or MEP projects
- Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of UAE authority regulations, QA/QC, HSE, and FM standards is preferred
