Role Overview

Lead civil construction projects, including district cooling and other industrial projects, in Dubai, UAE.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans and monitor performance.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders for efficient project execution.
  • Oversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting construction progress.
  • Report project milestones, challenges, and recommended actions to senior management.
  • Conduct quality inspections against designs and specifications.
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

Requirements and Skills

  • At least 10 years of UAE project engineering experience in construction projects.
  • At least 10 years of main-contractor experience.
  • District cooling experience is preferred, with 5 years specified as preferred experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, UAE regulations, and Dubai building codes.
  • Project management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Compensation

  • Full-time role paying AED 12,000 to AED 15,000 per month.

Workplace

  • Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
