About the Role
Civil Engineer sought for a Project Manager role overseeing construction of industrial projects.
Lead and coordinate construction delivery to meet schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the construction team and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans and monitor performance.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee building code, safety, legal, and quality compliance.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting progress.
- Report milestones, challenges, and recommended actions to senior management.
- Conduct inspections to verify compliance with design and specifications.
Requirements and Skills
- At least 10 years of UAE experience as a construction Project Manager with main contractors.
- At least 10 years of experience on industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Strong project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning skills.
- Familiarity with UAE and Dubai building codes, regulations, and industry practices.
- Effective communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
