Senior HSE Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local, national, and international regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Deliver HSE training covering hazard recognition, emergency response, and safe operational practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, standards, and internal procedures and communicate requirements to personnel.
• Maintain HSE records and submit regular performance reports to management.
• Develop emergency-response plans covering evacuation, first aid, and emergency-services coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety management, risk management, or a related field is required.
• Recognized HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or an equivalent certification is required.
• Relevant construction experience with a main contractor is required, with industrial-project experience preferred.
