Role Summary

  • Responsible for generating clinical demand for Biologics portfolio with key accounts
  • Develop strategic relationships with Multi Disciplinary Team and Decision Making Unit
  • Influence prescribing behavior to achieve sales targets and maximize market share

What you'll do

  • Develop account strategy and plans to improve positioning of AZ's Biologics products
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify territory business opportunities
  • Engage Biologics users in dialogue about approved indications and treatment protocols
  • Establish and maintain ongoing collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Deliver key promotional messages according to approved plan and marketing strategy
  • Submit monthly reports and ensure punctual delivery of reports and daily synchronization of ETMS Veeva

Build capability and knowledge

  • Build knowledge about AZ's Biologics value proposition among stakeholders
  • Conduct science based discussions with HCPs as per approved indications
  • Arrange multidisciplinary workshops and effective speaker programmes
  • Support Central pharmacists and nurses on relevant trainings

Deliver on plans and achieve sales goals

  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts meet or exceed expectations
  • Promote benefits of AZ's Biologics brands using fair balance messages
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of products in line with national/local guidelines
  • Facilitate enlistment of newly launched and key products in accounts

Corporate responsibility

  • Comply with all external regulations and internal policies
  • Maintain highest ethical standards in line with AstraZeneca Code of Ethics
  • Timely report health/environment/wellbeing accidents and adverse events

Personal Development

  • Develop behaviors leading to enhanced effectiveness as per Associate Key Account Competency framework
  • Identify areas for self development and agree on solid IDP with line manager
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, product, and training sessions
