Responsibilities
- Own end to end launch strategy for new products in the CVRM unit, generating customer, patient, and healthcare system insights
- Develop and understand market research principles, sources, tools, and methodology
- Contribute to forecasting models using local data
- Develop brand plan covering pre launch, launch, and post launch phases
- Define and execute market shaping initiatives with clear milestones, KPIs, and accountability
- Serve as strategic leader of a cross functional team; establish governance and performance tracking
- Drive formulary inclusion, pathway integration, and healthcare system adoption strategies
- Develop integrated omnichannel campaigns and customer engagement strategies
- Own launch budget allocation and resource prioritization; monitor performance and optimize execution
- Develop campaign materials and briefing documents; brief and select agencies
- Lead brand team, develop KEE plans, and cooperate with sales managers to empower sales force
- Proactively assess brand performance and propose actions to tap opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a medical related field
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Fast Moving Consumer Goods
- Strong expertise in market analysis, market research, forecast analysis, and business case development
- Market development and expansion work (pre post launch)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, cross functional cooperation, and project management skills
- Leadership and autonomy to initiate and execute under minimum guidance
- Financial business acumen and experience with forecasting models

Job Description
- The role is responsible to maximize the potential of the AstraZeneca therapeutic portfolio through professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Manage promotion, pricing, and positioning of products; pre post launch strategy; disease area vision; and resource allocation to optimize sales and profits.
- Strategize, write, and implement the marketing plan for the brand.
Typical Accountabilities
- Own the end to end launch strategy generating deep customer, patient, and healthcare system insights.
- Develop and understand market research principles/sources/tools/methodology.
- Work with local data to contribute to forecasting models.
- Develop Brand plan covering pre launch, launch, and post launch phases.
- Define and execute market shaping initiatives with clear milestones, KPIs, and accountability.
- Serve as the strategic leader of a large matrix cross functional team.
- Establish governance structures, launch readiness reviews, and performance tracking processes.
- Drive formulary inclusion, pathway integration, and healthcare system adoption strategies.
- Develop integrated omnichannel campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
- Own launch budget allocation and resource prioritization.
- Monitor performance and continuously optimize execution.
- Act as a role model for AZ values and behaviors.
Communication & Promotion
- Develop all campaign material and briefing documents to ensure maximum impact.
- Brief and select agencies; review performance and costs.
- Lead regional and national sales meetings/business reviews as required.
- Ensure full compliance with ethical standards and Code of Ethics.
- Prepare cost estimates and investment budgets.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal/external clients.
- Lead Brand Team, developing and implementing plans for KEE development and marketing strategy.
- Cooperate with Sales Managers to empower the sales force.
- Proactively assess brand performance and propose actions to tap opportunities.
- Own a refined top list of KEEs to visit and follow up on strategic initiatives.
Essentials for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Medical related field.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
- Strong expertise in market analysis, deep market research insights mining, forecast analysis, and business case development.
