Senior Procurement Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, service providers, and maintenance contractors while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Prepare requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, service orders, and supplier documentation.
• Evaluate technical and commercial quotations and coordinate with relevant teams on maintenance requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
• Support AMC and service agreement procurement, renewals, performance reviews, and commercial evaluations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, facilities, warehouse, and site teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, procurement records, inventory, critical spare parts, and procurement risks.
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies, internal controls, and QHSE requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in maintenance, facilities management, engineering, contracting, or related industries.
• Strong experience in maintenance procurement and AMC or service contract procurement.
• Experience managing suppliers, service providers, and maintenance contractors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, commercial, and cost-management skills.
• Knowledge of RFQs, quotation evaluation, supplier selection, contract management, and procurement risk management.
• Knowledge of maintenance materials, spare parts, equipment, services, and MEP-related requirements is preferred.
• ERP/CMMS experience is preferred.
• Engineering or relevant technical/procurement qualification is preferred.
• Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent is the minimum qualification.
• Based in or willing to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 12,000 to AED 15,000 per month.
