About the Role
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required to support the company's projects and operations.
The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Oil & Gas procurement, with strong technical knowledge of engineered equipment, long lead items (LLIs), and end-to-end procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement process from receipt of requisitions through purchase order placement, supplier follow-up, post-order expediting, and final delivery.
- Source, evaluate, and procure materials, engineered equipment, and services in accordance with project specifications and business requirements.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Procure long lead items (LLIs) and major engineered equipment for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and project requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, manufacturing progress, inspections, documentation, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time project execution.
