Preferred profile
- Saudi National or Arabic-speaking candidates will be strongly considered.
- A bachelor's degree in a related commercial, construction, engineering, procurement, or legal discipline is preferred.
- MRICS, MCIPS, CIOB, or an equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
- At least 15 years of commercial, procurement, and contract management experience is required.
Key experience required
- Extensive experience on major infrastructure, construction, utilities, water, or multidisciplinary capital projects is required.
- Client-side, PMC, consultancy, or major-contractor experience is required.
- Expertise is required in contract administration, commercial management, procurement strategy, and tender management.
- Experience is required in contractor negotiations, change orders, claims, contract interpretation, risk, and scope disputes.
- Capability is required in evaluating claims, variations, extensions of time, submissions, and contractual entitlements.
- Experience is required in commercial governance, audit trails, procurement registers, claims registers, and contractual correspondence.
- Strong stakeholder management is required for engagement with clients, project teams, consultants, and contractors.
Core work areas
- Manage procurement and contract activities for major programme packages.
- Lead negotiations concerning variations, disputed scope, pricing, rates, and settlements.
- Manage commercial governance, budget controls, and commercial reconciliation.
- Support procurement lifecycle activities from scope definition through contract award.
Sector experience
- Preferred sectors include infrastructure and urban development.
- Preferred sectors include utilities and water or TSE projects.
- Preferred sectors include landscape and public realm projects.
- Preferred sectors include construction and civil engineering programmes.
- Major Saudi Arabia or GCC project experience is preferred.
Language requirements
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
- Working proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
