Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers and vendors to meet business requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and budget requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.
- Conduct supplier assessments and support vendor onboarding processes.
- Resolve supplier related issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering procurement contracts and agreements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Experience in indirect procurement, particularly in logistics
- Preferably experience with ERP systems and procurement software
- Knowledgeable in procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain principles
- Knowledgeable in market analysis and cost management techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Highly attentive to details and possess strong organizational skills

What You'll Be Doing
- As a Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's procurement activities by sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost effective purchasing practices.
- The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers and vendors to meet business requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and budget requirements.

Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.

Contract & Compliance Management
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering procurement contracts and agreements.

- Support internal and external audits related to procurement activities.
Cost Optimization & Analysis
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost saving opportunities.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and market research findings.
- Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and supplier capabilities.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with finance, operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Provide updates on procurement status, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- You have experience in indirect procurement, particularly in logistics.
- You preferably have experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
Required Skills & Competencies
- You are knowledgeable in procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain principles.
- You are knowledgeable in market analysis and cost management techniques.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
