What you'll be doing

  • Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers and vendors to meet business requirements.
  • Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and budget requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and support vendor onboarding processes.
  • Resolve supplier related issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering procurement contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in indirect procurement, particularly in logistics.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledgeable in market analysis and cost management techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Highly attentive to details and strong organizational skills.
