Role Overview

Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Offshore) for work connected with Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role may operate within the core engineering team or a project management team environment.

The position may include responsibility for process engineering personnel and delegation of support activities.

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 12 years of experience is required, including 8 years in process engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
  • PMC experience in a similar role for several years is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco desktop standards and procedures or practices is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

  • Control FEED engineers preparing process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, line sizing, centrifugal pump sizing, and heat and material balances.
  • Ensure proper and correct FEED process engineering outputs.
  • Provide timely comments on FEED deliverables and ensure their resolution and implementation.
  • Manage process personnel and delegate activities to support personnel when assigned.

Qualifications

  • A BSc degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or gas and oil engineering is required.
  • Membership in an appropriate professional organization is required.
