The Senior Lifting Operations role is a senior offshore construction position.
The role leads safe crane and lifting operations, develops lifting plans, and manages subcontractors to meet project schedules and safety standards.
Qualification and experience requirements
- An engineering degree from a recognized university is required.
- At least 17 years of experience is required, including 5 to 10 years in oil and gas in a similar role.
- Construction experience in crane management, rigging, and heavy lifting is required.
- At least five years of offshore experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience on an ADNOC project is required.
Technical knowledge and capabilities
- Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
- Certification in lifting supervision, such as LEEA.
- Strong knowledge of crane safe working loads, lifting gear maintenance, and lifting regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of ASME, OSHA, and LOLER lifting and rigging standards.
- Ability to interpret lifting drawings and calculations and guide subcontractors.
- Ability to review and approve lift plans, studies, and rigging and lifting procedures.
- Ability to generate project lifting and rigging procedures when necessary.
- General knowledge of inspecting overhead cranes, gantry systems, davit arms, winches, and other lifting equipment.

- Lead safe crane and lifting operations on an offshore construction site.
- Develop lifting plans and manage subcontractors to meet project schedules and safety standards.
- Review and approve lift plans, studies, and rigging and lifting procedures.
- Generate project lifting and rigging procedures when required.
- Provide guidance on lifting drawings and calculations and support lifting gear inspections.
