Role Overview
The Planning Manager will work in a collaborative support team environment to help ensure client objectives are met.
The role supports the Project Management division through planning, programme assurance, reporting, coordination, and bid support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide planning support to the project team and ensure programme issues are highlighted and understood.
- Give planning advice and direction to project team members and relevant stakeholders.
- Produce programme assurance reports for client commissions.
- Produce progress reports showing variance against baselines.
- Deliver periodic programme updates and provide input to project reports.
- Coordinate client, partner, consultant, and contractor programmes of work against the project programme.
- Report areas of non-compliance for resolution.
- Provide planning support to the bidding team and help submit bidding documentation on time.
Requirements
- A BSc degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience is required.
- Regional experience with professional consultancy is necessary.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with planning and resourcing software, such as Primavera P6 or other discipline-specific applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional working knowledge of project management and planning software and tools.
- Industry experience within real estate and infrastructure.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
