The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and project teams with administrative, coordination, reporting, and communication activities.
The role coordinates project activities, maintains documentation, and helps ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day project administration and coordinate project tasks across team members.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and distribute action items.
- Maintain project calendars, plans, schedules, reports, registers, and status updates.
- Support document control, filing, and accurate maintenance of project records.
- Track actions, deliverables, deadlines, milestones, resources, equipment, and material requirements.
- Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, departments, banks, and other parties.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, announcements, and regular progress updates.
- Update project management systems and highlight potential delays, risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Support project expense tracking and preparation of basic budget reports.
- Promote collaboration and contribute to a positive project delivery environment.
Qualifications
- BEng, diploma, vocational degree, or equivalent qualification.
- CAPM certification or an equivalent project management certification.
- More than five years of professional experience.
- At least three years of experience supporting projects in airport, live operational, or major infrastructure environments.
- Regional Middle East experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with project documentation, reporting, scheduling, and progress tracking.
