The Senior Planning Engineer will work within the project controls team, providing performance reporting and analysis support.
The role covers project controls for major construction projects or programmes, including life sciences projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines.
- Establish progress and cost monitoring methodologies.
- Produce project control reports and performance analysis with actionable recommendations for clients.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Manage earned value analysis, progress updates, and cost control activities.
- Oversee change control and baseline management processes.
- Deliver clear and timely reporting to stakeholders.
Required Expertise
- Earned value analysis, progress updating and tracking, cost control, and change control procedures.
- Baseline management, project reporting, and performance analysis.
- Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, planning software, and reporting databases.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, and web-based project control tools is expected.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with relevant work experience or proven project control experience.
- Experience in project controls on major construction projects or programmes.
- Proactive, self-starting approach with well-developed communication and analytical skills.
