Role Overview
Senior Planning Engineer role supporting construction, contracting, infrastructure, and marine projects in the UAE.
The role manages schedules, monitors progress, identifies delays, and provides project controls information for timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, including baseline, detailed, recovery, and look-ahead programmes.
- Prepare WBS structures, activity sequencing, logic, durations, milestones, critical paths, progress reports, S-curves, histograms, dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Monitor progress, constraints, risks, delays, resources, engineering deliverables, procurement, materials, and subcontractor programmes.
- Coordinate with project, construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, QA/QC, HSE, supplier, and subcontractor teams.
- Support recovery planning, mitigation, Extension of Time, delay analysis, variations, claims, and time-impact analysis.
- Maintain project records and provide technical guidance to junior planning staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience; the description also references a 7–10+ year experience range.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and detailed Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 project scheduling.
- Experience in construction planning, project controls, progress monitoring, reporting, delay notices, and recovery planning.
Compensation
- The structured salary is AED 12,000–14,000 per month.
- The description also lists pay of AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
