ADSO LLC is seeking an Accountant for its Dubai office.
The role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenues, tax, analytics, MIS, and closing reports.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and administer accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax activities.
- Monitor and follow up on payables and receivables, including reconciliations.
- Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and facilitate the closing process.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favourable terms.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
- Maintain balance sheet account controls through monthly reconciliations and corrective actions.
- Review accounts payable balances for accuracy and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage year-end closing, audits, accruals, reserve analysis, and intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with IFRS.
- Support analytics, MIS, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Three to five years of experience in a UAE finance role.
- General contracting experience is preferred.
- Auditing experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Pay
- AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
