Job Summary
Conduct accurate land surveys and measurements to support construction and development projects.
Use surveying equipment and techniques to provide data on property boundaries, topography, and existing features.
Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and contractors to meet survey requirements and timelines.
Surveying and Construction Support
- Perform boundary and topographic surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments.
- Set out reference points and markers for construction activities based on engineering designs and plans.
- Provide layout and measurements for site preparation, excavation, foundations, and infrastructure installations.
- Monitor construction progress and verify conformity with design specifications and survey data.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare reports, maps, and charts showing survey results, measurements, and variations.
- Document as-built conditions and deviations from original plans during construction.
- Calculate earthwork cut-and-fill volumes for project planning and cost estimation.
Compliance and Collaboration
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate field notes, sketches, digital data, and other survey records.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders and coordinate with authorities and clients.
Quality and Project Outcomes
- Perform quality control checks to verify survey data accuracy and reliability.
- Collect GIS data for urban planning and environmental analysis.
- Monitor structural stability and detect land or structure movements.
- Locate underground utilities to help prevent construction accidents.
- Save project data and documents in the specified folder or network directory.
Pay
- AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Requirements
- Experience using GPS surveying equipment is required for the role.
- Ability to conduct accurate boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
- Ability to maintain accurate field notes, sketches, digital survey data, and related records.
