Role Overview

Warehouse and Inventory Operations

• Verify received goods against invoices and inspect deliveries for quality defects, damage, and quantity discrepancies.
• Receive air and sea shipments and report delivery issues to management.
• Weigh, code, label, and store products according to defined systems, including FIFO procedures.
• Monitor expiry dates and provide regular reports to management.
• Control stock and ensure products remain secure and properly documented.
• Reconcile SAP stock with physical stock through regular spot checks and stock counts.

Dispatch and Delivery Operations

• Schedule vehicles and allocate deliveries to meet customer timing, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Ensure deliveries are dispatched promptly and coordinate closely with delivery staff.
• Inspect delivery returns, document reasons, and send reports and supporting documents to relevant departments.
• Ensure the exact products ordered on sales invoices are delivered.
• Prepare order locations for afternoon and following-day deliveries.
• File dispatch documentation and send signed invoices promptly to finance.

Facilities, Safety, and Security

• Maintain, repair, and replace warehouse equipment when needed.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean and ensure vehicles are cleaned according to schedule.
• Manage product disposal after obtaining required approvals.
• Enforce hygiene, no-smoking, uniform, security-shoe, and warehouse-key controls.
• Supervise security staff and implement security policies.
• Support maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and AMC contracts.

People and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Develop, train, direct, and define responsibilities for warehouse staff.
• Coordinate with accounts, reception, managers, delivery staff, and other employees using email communication.
• Represent the food safety, recall, and emergency response teams and participate in their activities.

Role Requirements

• Familiarity with company products and storage systems used by suppliers and vendors.
• Ability to coordinate with operational teams and delivery staff.
• Ability to supervise, develop, train, and direct warehouse staff.
• Knowledge of food safety, recall, emergency response, and warehouse security procedures.
