Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in static and rotating equipment for offshore projects.
The position is based in the UAE.
The role oversees engineering tasks, construction and fabrication, and requires knowledge of standards such as API and ASME.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Twelve years of experience, including six years in mechanical engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- Strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction.
- Experience on offshore projects involving commissioning, operations, and start-up.
- Previous experience on an ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
- Operations and maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical engineering tasks for static and rotating equipment on offshore projects.
- Manage construction and fabrication activities.
- Apply relevant mechanical engineering standards, including API and ASME requirements.
- Support or oversee commissioning, operations, and start-up activities for offshore projects.
- Apply specialized mechanical engineering knowledge across EPC project lifecycles.
