Client of Tawzef seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, execution, and delivery of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) for construction projects in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
- Lead end to end design, execution, and delivery of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) across multiple projects
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation
- Manage coordination between disciplines (civil, electrical, architecture) to eliminate clashes
- Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, quality standards, and codes
- Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor offers, technical comparisons, and material compliance
- Lead testing, commissioning, and handover processes
- Mentor and develop junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in construction or real estate development projects
- Proven expertise in mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) design and site execution
- Strong command of codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, local regulations)
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Solid experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQs
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project delivery

Job Description

- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation to ensure full compliance with project requirements
- Manage coordination between disciplines (civil, electrical, architecture) to eliminate clashes, optimize designs, and avoid project delays
- Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, quality standards, and local/international codes
- Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance system efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall project performance
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor offers, technical comparisons, and material compliance
- Lead testing, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure system functionality and client satisfaction
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, acting as a technical authority both on site and within the technical office
Requirements
