Role Overview
Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in piping for a position based in the UAE.
The role involves engineering oversight, construction and fabrication management, and specialized knowledge of applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering tasks for piping and offshore projects.
- Manage construction and fabrication activities.
- Apply standards such as API and ASME.
- Support offshore project commissioning, operation, and start-up activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Twelve years of experience, including six years in mechanical engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- Strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles.
- Experience in offshore construction and offshore projects with commissioning, operation, and start-up experience.
- Previous ARAMCO project experience is an added advantage.
Work Location
- The position is based in the UAE and involves offshore project work.
