Position Summary
CSCEC Middle East is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a high-rise tower project in Dubai.
The position requires thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques and responsibility for overseeing mechanical works.
The role decides daily work priorities, schedules activities, assigns tasks, checks work accuracy and handles operational issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and design detailed engineering shop drawings based on tender design drawings.
- Study and review tender drawings and specifications and raise RFIs when required.
- Lead and support the engineering team and coordinate tasks among groups or individuals.
- Ensure engineering quality and compliance with the appropriate project process.
- Prepare and review design solutions that comply with client requirements, design standards, codes and good engineering principles.
- Deliver engineering work to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
- Maintain effective working relationships with authorities and other disciplines.
- Provide technical support to procurement and assist with supplier offers.
- Liaise with local authorities for approval of mechanical service drawings and inspections.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in construction projects.
- Experience in high-rise tower projects.
