Overview

  • As a Senior Managing Consultant, Specialized Product Delivery (Product / Portfolio Specialist) you will be responsible for driving profit and growth for cards, encompassing revenue, credit costs (including Fraud), and direct/allocated costs.
  • You will design and successfully execute card product and portfolio management strategies through action plans covering card metrics such as new acquisition, activation, ENR, spend, retention, profitability etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercialization and launch of new products and solutions, recommending pricing, providing sales tools, and training the sales team.
  • Monitor product performance post roll out and resolve product or sales issues.
  • Lead initiatives to support client profit and growth for cards, managing revenue, credit costs, and direct/allocated costs.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for product management, audit, compliance matters, and complaints support.
  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at generating revenue through products.
  • Guide and support client facing professionals and sales teams in solving complex client needs through products.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive product growth.
  • Lead training initiatives for internal stakeholders about product offerings.
  • Perform and analyze competitive benchmarking of products vis à vis competition and the market.
  • Lead the development of consumer product strategies and value propositions.
  • Oversee the delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization.
  • Develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

  • Experience in delivery of large, complex projects / programs of diverse size in a cross functional, multicultural environment.
  • Domain knowledge of payments industry and hands on experience of program management.
  • Able to plan and manage a multi workstream program from inception to delivery.
  • Develop strong presence in the client organization.
  • Bring interesting & relevant industry perspectives, insights and ideas to key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally and manage multiple issues under pressure.
  • Able to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals.

All About Your Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable (Arabic).
  • Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
  • Relevant experience of 15 years+ in Cards Product and Portfolio Management.
  • Regional experience preferred (i.e. GCC).
  • Structured approach to project management.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
