Role Overview

  • Senior Manager, Tax Innovation works with MNP Tax team and Innovation & Insights team to evaluate, prioritize, design, and execute automation and transformation opportunities.
  • Focus on new products and services that redefine how MNP serves clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and enable opportunities for automation, transformation, and service enhancement in MNP's tax practice.
  • Monitor emerging trends in tax technology, regulatory change, and innovation practices.
  • Partner with Tax leadership to prioritize transformational initiatives that improve scalability, profitability, and client experience.
  • Develop and execute a multi year tax innovation roadmap aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Develop business requirements (BRD) and product requirements (PRD) documentation as product owner for new Tax tools.
  • Lead end to end innovation initiatives across tools, analytics, and AI from ideation to implementation.
  • Collaborate with tax practitioners, Innovation team, Change Enablement, and technical delivery team.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the tax practice.
  • Oversee pilot programs, proofs of concept (POCs), and scaled implementation efforts.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
  • 5 8 years of progressive experience in innovation, Data & AI, strategy, digital transformation, or operational excellence.
  • Strong tax expertise with experience improving processes, leading innovation, and working with modern technology.
  • Deep familiarity with innovation frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with optimization or implementation of existing tools and prototyping, piloting, and scaling new solutions.
  • Ongoing professional development in emerging technologies (AI, automation, digital transformation).
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams with focus on change management.
  • Experience within a professional services environment preferred.
  • Exposure to client facing environments and understanding of client service delivery models considered an asset.
