Role Overview

  • MNP's Innovation & Insights team is looking for a Manager, Innovation.
  • This diverse team of future focused problem solvers works with key leaders across MNP to evaluate, prioritize, design, and execute on new products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to MNP's VP Innovation, this role is responsible for enabling innovation governance standards and driving alignment to MNP's strategic plan.
  • Lead innovation initiatives from ideation through implementation, ensuring alignment with client service strategy and overall Firm vision.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings across business leaders, change enablement, technology development, data engineering and AI/ML team to support high impact innovation outcomes.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the Firm to define, operate, and continuously improve a structured and well governed innovation pipeline.
  • Oversee and assess innovation business cases, ensuring consistent value logic, risk considerations, execution readiness, and quality prior to prioritization.
  • Define, measure, and maintain the innovation value framework, including financial, operational, client, and risk adjusted metrics.
  • Manage and maintain the innovation portfolio reporting system of record.
  • Collaborate with development teams, refining proof of concepts and translating business outcomes into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with teammates through mentoring and knowledge sharing, including facilitation of demos, lunch and learns, and innovation strategy presentations.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 8 years of progressive experience in roles related to innovation, Data & AI, strategy, digital transformation, or operational excellence.
  • Deep familiarity with innovation frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience within a professional services environment preferred.
  • Exposure to client facing environments and understanding of client service delivery models considered an asset.
  • Ongoing professional development in emerging technologies (AI, automation, digital transformation).
  • Experience with prototyping, piloting, and scaling new solutions.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams with a focus in change management and ability to adapt to new technologies and ways of working.
