- Lead a high performing team of TD&L professionals, providing mentorship and development
- Evolve and oversee global talent management programs, including annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, Succession Planning
- Partner with Sr. Manager of Learning to continuously optimize the Global Onboarding Experience
- Guide the launch of Leadership Behaviours and integrate them across talent programs
- Play a critical role in building AI capability across the business, designing and delivering enablement programs
- Measure and report on program KPIs, including behavioral change and effectiveness
- Drive execution on the TD&L strategy through development of team goals, KPIs, and quarterly/annual roadmaps
- Partner as a leader in the broader People team, ensuring coordinated efforts across all People functions
- Oversee learning infrastructure, including LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI enabled tools
- Systematically integrate DIBE principles into all talent processes
- Own reporting and narrative for success, budget utilization, and business impact of all global TD&L initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience, including leading talent programs and teams in organizations of 2,000+ employees
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing high performing teams
- Deep knowledge of talent management practices including performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, and career development program design
- Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and learning solutions across all levels of leadership
- Hands on experience leading or working alongside learning experience designers and knowledge of LMS, course authoring tools, content libraries, and AI enabled solutions
- AI fluency and forward thinking actively uses AI tools to rethink work
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and drive alignment across People CoEs, People Business Partners, business leaders, and senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate talent data and program metrics into compelling narratives that drive leadership decisions

Summary
- We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning to join our People team on a 14 month contract (parental leave cover).
- The ideal candidate will be located in Vancouver, BC, but we are open to candidates in our other Canadian hub locations (Calgary and Toronto).

- The Talent Development & Learning (TD&L) team helps fuel Clio's growth by bridging today's skills with tomorrow's potential.
- We design high impact learning solutions that empower our people to excel now, while building strategic programs for leadership development, talent management, and coaching.
What you'll work on
- Team Leadership: Lead a high performing team of TD&L professionals. You are directly responsible for the mentorship and development of people managers and portfolio leads to create functional bench strength.
- Talent Management: Evolve and oversee our global talent management programs, inclusive of our annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, Succession Planning, and more.
- Global Onboarding: Partner with the Sr. Manager of Learning to continuously optimize the Global Onboarding Experience, ensuring cultural integration and minimizing time to productivity across all global regions.
- Leadership Development: Guide the launch of our Leadership Behaviours and integrate them across our talent program. Provide strategic direction for the design of world class development programs and coaching offerings targeted at key cohorts: Key Talent, Emerging Leaders, Mid Level Management, and S

- Learning Infrastructure: Oversee our learning infrastructure, including our LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI enabled tools.
- DIBE Integration: Systematically integrate Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity (DIBE) principles into all talent processes, ensuring equitable access and decision making.
- Budget & Reporting: Own the reporting and narrative for the success, budget utilization, and business impact of all global TD&L initiatives.
What you bring
- Scale: 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience, including leading talent programs and teams in organizations of 2,000+ employees.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience managing and developing high performing teams, with a track record of building bench strength and fostering professional growth.
- Talent Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of talent management practices including performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, and career development program design.
- Leadership Development: Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and learning solutions across all levels of leadership.
- Learning Design & Infrastructure: Hands on experience leading or working alongside learning experience designers and a point of view on what good looks like — from how a shared services learning function operates to the tools that power it (LMS, course authoring tools, content libraries, and emergin

Total Rewards
- The expected salary range for this role is CAD 129,200 to CAD 161,500 to CAD 193,800 CAD.
